Zhineng Qigong is an effective Chinese health method.
For thousands of years, Qigong has been part of Chinese Culture.

In the last years, Zhineng Qigong has become a lifestyle for many people around the world. It’s a unique way to rejuvenate your health and increase your vitality with soft movements.

This style of Qigong was originally developed for use in the world’s largest Chinese “medicine-less hospital”, and is now practiced widely throughout the world.

Zhineng Qigong is characterized by group practice, with practitioners “organizing the Qifield,” a technique they believe enhances healing.

The style employs a comprehensive system of Qigong movement, meditation, visualization and awareness techniques.

In the Basics (level 1 ) of Zhineng Qigong the exchange takes place between the internal and external Qi (life energy). We use the mind’s intention to let go of the internal Qi and to absorb the external Qi.

 

These are beautiful exercises to feel the body and to enjoy the moment;
* Lift Chi up Pour Chi down Methode is the basic premise of Zhineng Qigong. Through the exercise, energy in the body is redistributed. The energy of the body flows (meridians), will open more and the quality and quantity of the internal Qi (energy) are improved. The movements of Lift Chi up Pour Chi down are soft, slow and simple.

 

* Three Centers Merge Methode is is the meditative form of Zhineng Qigong that will enhance inner strength and peace. In general this exercise is practiced while standing.

 

* Wallsquat Methode is an aerobics exercise where the Qi is pumped through the body. The muscles are getting more oxygen. Because of the powerful movements from the legs and the opening of the lower back, this method has a positive effect on the kidneys.

 

* La Chi Methode is a simple exercise to collect energy and subsequently send it through the body with mind and hands. The movements are small, simple and powerful.

The Body and Mind Method consists of 10 exercises. Each joint in the body will be approached in a special way, allowing the Qi to freely and deeply flow through the body. These are wonderful exercises to connect body and mind with each other!

Based on the principles of “passive” or “cold” practices, Restorative Kumbhaka taps into the alchemy between gravity and breath, bringing about significant structural, emotional and psychological shifts. Practitioners experience significant release, embodying a sense of lightness.

This then put to use within the “active” or “fire” practice of Vinyasa Kumbhaka, an experience which will open you to an equally subtle and powerful approach to body and movement. Practitioners experience greater energy levels, inner space and freedom of movement.

Yoni egg, jade egg, or love egg – are names for a beautiful semiprecious stone carved into an egg shape and polished to be worn inside the vagina.

“Yoni” is a Sanskrit word for the female genitalia that means “sacred space.” Its symbol has been worshiped in Eastern cultures since ancient times for bestowing life, creativity and love.

We will be using the term “yoni” to bring appreciation and acknowledgment – so often lacking in Western culture – to the creative power this magical part of the female body holds.

About Caroline…

She completed her 200-hr Yoga Alliance Teacher Training in the Mysore style in India in 2009 with Barath Sheety and has since completed her advanced level (500-hr) training. Recently she has completed a (300-hr ) training with Everet Newel at Zuna Yoga School.

Along the way, Caroline has been studying and practicing many healing arts such as Naturopathy, NLP, Ayurveda, Health – Nutrition Coaching and various massage techniques.

Through her holistic approach and knowledge Caroline has developed a unique yoga style. She believes everyone is unique and only an approach supporting individual qualities can lead to wellbeing.

She encourages her students to build a solid foundation with correct alignments and synchronized breath, uniting body, mind and soul into one dance, one sound.

Ben Macrory (“Om Ben”) moved to Bali ten years ago to help start the now world-famous Green School.

With a beautiful family, a great job, and abundance in all aspects of life, he was living the dream… until he wasn’t.

A few years later, just about everything came crashing down around him: his marriage , his physical health, his career. In the midst of this very dark period, Ben was taken to his first kirtan, and while it didn’t happen overnight, this was the first step in a journey of profound healing and personal transformation.

Out of this emerged Om Ben, who now performs extensively around Ubud in a variety of forms and venues.

Kirtan is his devotional practice and primary connection to source.

Om Ben is known for his warm heart, quick wit and adventurous singing, and he is widely regarded as one of the funniest harmonium players in Ubud.

Kirtan is a very different kind of music. Based on ancient chants, it has the ability to quiet the mind if listened to with intention.

Everyone experiences kirtan differently, and it doesn’t have to be a religious experience.

You can think of it as a sing-along. A kirtan concert is not your typical concert either. Everyone sits on the floor, although chairs are usually available.
