More Information about Teacher Training
This is a new opportunity in the world of therapeutic Yoga and healing!
Yoga is currently more popular than it has ever been before, however when Yoga is mentioned many people think of Asana (postures) and flexibility when in fact, it’s so much more.
Tragically, many Western students of Yoga never get the full benefit of the art of yoga, as they often rely on ‘watered down’ approaches meant for the mass-market. The students become bored easily and move from class to class searching for something more meaningful.
This not only deprives Yoga students of an authentic and rewarding experience, it also keeps you, the teacher, from growing and reaching the heights of your art.
The good news is many students are open to learning and experiencing the higher benefits of Therapeutic Yoga and are looking for qualified instructors to share this knowledge with them.
These dedicated Yoga students (the ones that provide the most consistent attendance to classes) have specific therapeutic or health concerns they would like to address….and will happily sign up for regular classes to gain this knowledge. With that in mind, the focus of this training is on yoga therapy for common illnesses; physical, physiological and spiritual.
Our goal is to help spread the most authentic Yoga practices for their original purpose:
The 300 hour Yoga Alliance Accredited Certification is the advanced level of training for those who have already completed 200 hours of training with The Yoga Alliance.
“Yoga therapy consists of the application of yogic principles, methods, and techniques to specific human ailments. In its ideal application, Yoga therapy is preventive in nature, as is Yoga itself, but it is also restorative in many instances, palliative in others, and curative in many others.”
-Art Brownstein, M.D.
Medical studies support the use of Yoga Therapy as a complementary treatment for many common ailments. Upon completion of this training, you’ll be able to support your students by teaching them various “ yoga tools” to address their specific conditions to reduce symptoms, to restore balance, to improve vitality. These Yogic techniques will take you, and them, much deeper in your practice and will enhance your lives.
The training, which is just 30 days in duration, takes place in Ubud, Bali and comes complete with:
Anatomy & physiology: Deep insights into the inner workings of the human body
Applied anatomy: the practical application of anatomical knowledge in diagnosis and treatment
Asana: understanding the benefits and putting them into practice.
Sanskrit names of postures and pronunciation
Structural alignment/postural integration: advanced methodology
Prop usage: Using physical props to support postural understanding and enhance benefit of pose (how you can use props to facilitate healing.)
Meditation: How meditation fits in with the system of Yoga and how to teach/use it.
Ayurveda: deepen your knowledge learned in Level 1 of this science of health and medicine; its principles and practices.
Anatomy of the subtle body: Chakras, Pranas, Nadis – and how these unseen energy structures play a role in our health in regards to therapy.
Marmar points: According to Ayurveda tradition, learn to locate and stimulate these energy points to facilitate much deeper healing.
Pranayama: learn to interpret breathing patterns and provide practices to correct and improve physical condition
Mudra pranala: study the second level of this Balinese healing system and learn to support your students in their healing journey
Vedic healing chants/mantras: proper recitation of chants and mantras can transform energy in different areas of the body as well as improve concentration, memory and focus
Nada yoga: study this system of using sounds and tones to affect healing
Kriya Yoga: real transformation can happen when this set of tools is applied in your life
Yoga philosophy: Theory and applied.
Philosophy: The broader set of Vedic ideas that have influenced the development of modern yoga.

She currently shares her life between India and Bali. Before coming to Bali she has been teaching in India, Europe and East Asia. She joyously endeavors to lead her students through a journey that embraces not only the physical but also the deeper aspects of Yoga. Her quote below embodies her yoga philosophy:
“I feel one of Yoga’s most precious gifts to humanity lies in its emphasis on our relationship to ourselves and to all other Beings around us. It is a constant challenge to apply a fluid stream of tolerance, kindness and happiness in our daily lives, but as result of my own spiritual search, I am persuaded it can only start from contemplative work we do within ourselves. For me , yoga opens a world of mystery and magic. I see teaching as an act of giving and devotion and my intention is to guide and inform my students, to endow them to develop their own individual practice, physical and spiritual. While remaining inquisitive, I believe we can best evolve through good intention, discipline, our own humility and our love for ourselves and ‘the other’. I would like to help students cultivate these qualities as I continue to cultivate them myself through my practice”.

I join Yoga Pranala Intensive Teacher Training to learn to be a teacher but more so to explore my own possibilities and to deepen my own practice. Although these intentions were met, I experienced a much more meaningful personal journey. I got my heart back. I found my emotions… I found my joy. I am ready now to take a leap forward in my life’s journey. I will forever be grateful.
Transformational experience with loving, warm, supportive teachers.
Most Amazing experience! I am so thankful my first teacher training was Yoga Pranala. I am now forever transformed. My whole body is filled with more light and love than ever.
This is a beautiful and comprehensive teacher training. It is very challenging, rich and transformative. The depth of experience available through the staff is extraordinary and the blend of Balinese Pranala Healing with yoga offers a profoundly balanced, grounded practice based in the heart.
Not just a teacher training but also an inner journey deep into the soul. That being said, the training was thorough, professional, challenging, and equipping. I feel ready to be an authentic yoga teacher and will carry the memories of the dear souls that I met and shared time with throughout the training. Kudos to the teachers, lovingly and thoughtfully done! My gratitude flows to you.
Thank for the whole teacher training. Thank you for the love, thank for the knowledge, care and precious moments and thanks to all my friends, my new sisters, thanks for sharing the energy of love. We are whole, perfect and complete. We are beautiful and we are blessed. Namaste
Along with a deepening of my knowledge of yoga, mediation and ayurveda, I was taken on a Balinese Spiritual experience that was far more profound than I could have hoped for.
Transformational experience with loving, warm, supportive teachers.
My biggest fear in all my life was to stand up in front of people and teach/present. I always admired others who could do it. The fear was from a childhood trauma and I have now successfully closed that chapter in my life. Thank you.
An unforgettable time with wonderful people, great teachers, a lot of yoga, surrounded by the beautiful nature and spirit of Bali.
The 500 RYT designation with Yoga Alliance is recognized and in-demand internationally.
I have personally taught to hundreds of Yoga instructors from around the world, many of whom have gone on to expand their teaching careers as a result of this training.
I want to make the same thing possible for you.

To your success,
The Yoga Pranala Teacher Training intensive was an amazing and excellent course. The guidance we received was always professional compassionate, and extremely thorough. The Yoga Pranala style was the one that suited me and that I will continue to pursue and study. I highly recommend this course as it does not only prepare a student to be a yoga teacher but also nurtures the student on his or her own spiritual growth.
I met Linda last year at her studio. I was drawn to Linda’s depth of knowledge and authenticity to her yoga and lifestyle. I knew from the 1st class that I attended that I would enjoy and get a lot out of her teaching. It was all I had hoped for. Thank you. I am so happy that you held space for all of us. I think of this group as wonderful extended family.
I am grateful to have been part of this beautiful journey. The opportunities to grow and transform were incredible and I am blessed to have met such beautiful people. I learned so much about yoga and myself as a way of life. Being a part of the Balinese ceremonies was such an honor. I am inspired and looking forward the next chapter in my life.
Making the choice to do Linda Madani’s Pranala Intensive Yoga Teacher Training (when there are so many TT’s to choose from!) was the best decision I think I could have made. There were so many elements to this training – including immersion in the peace-loving Balinese spirituality and culture. Every minute was filled with learning experiences: asana, pranayama, Ayurveda healing, meditation, philosophy, anatomy, chanting, dancing, mandala-making….. All of it expansive, on every level: mind, body, emotion and spirit. Linda has the wisdom and experience of a true healer and yogi. The highly professional caliber of this training, and her teaching – as well as that of the other teachers, were true gifts. Challenging at times, this training was transformational in the deepest sense of the word. Worth every effort to get to Bali, and more…
Thanks I love teaching and sharing what you taught me. I’m forever grateful for your hard work and dedication. I sing the mantras on my scooter as I ride to my work partner’s house at 5,30 each morning. It’s so relaxing. Complete, professional and nurturing. The experience has been above and beyond my expectations. A true journey for the soul back to oneself.
This teacher training has been such a gift for me, and something I never could have imagined. Receiving the tools I need to teach yoga to others is only a fraction of the knowlegde I gained from this experience. During the training, my mind, heart and soul opened up to the spirituality I have always possessed, but never knew how to explore or understand it within myself. I had no idea this experience would be so magical. It truly is an amazingly well-rounded training, and words cannot describe how grateful I am to have learned what I have learned from Linda. I will never forget my time in Bali, where I met my beautiful soul sisters xoxo
Yoga Pranala Intensive Teacher Training was a wonderful experience that completed my teaching experience. I now put myself in the class as a translator and always keep myself in balance. The teachers of Yoga Pranala Intensive were so wonderful and their generous love made me feel so loved, complete and help me to embrace the strength within me. It was an amazing 22-day experience on my yoga journey. I will always be grateful for this chance. Thank you.
Linda is an inspiring & confident teacher who instructs with compassion & precision. She has brought a dimension into my life which will enable me to continue my spiritual journey. Linda’s passion pervades her entire being this is supported by being in such a magical spot. The staff at Kumara were perfect. Everything done with knowing less humbleness & that lovely Balinese smile to be able to return & continue this path with so many supportive people around can only be a form of the heaven on earth. I bow to you all. Namaste. The depth of Linda’s knowledge is extraordinary, her ability to impart it even more so. She creates a symphony with the visible and the invisible, my heart sings.
Namaste!…Since I returned from your teaching course, apart from teaching pranala yoga..with incredible results!!!..We are all very grateful to you!!!..I have been doing therapies…I see/feel the blockages of the nadis…the energy blockages…and we are able to bring to the surface the “trauma/memory” for it to be let go of.using the breathe and of course Divine Love…up until now it’s complete word of mouth…but I keep being asked what it is called…everything seems to have to have a name….anyway I was thinking of calling it Pranala..Undoing the obstacles to The presence of Love….Love and gratitude to you always!!!..Thank You!
So grateful to have had the opportunity to live this incredible experience. My objective on coming to this teacher training was primarily to deepen my personal yoga practice and to learn on pranayama and meditation. However, after having finished these amazing 22 days, I am so inspired to go out and teach others the healing and energy of yoga. We were so blessed to share this training with amazing people, shared breathtaking, emotions, beautiful venue, delicious food. And last but not least, having the opportunity to have superb teachers thank you so much Linda for all your teachings, your advice, you care for everyone. And what can I say about Anouk, she is a wonderful teacher as well. I go back home with a lot of learning and very inspired by the wonderful teachers we had. (Linda, Anouk,Emil and dr. Remil)
